Chef Kaitlynne — Executive Sous Catering
A Travelers Rest native who worked her way from dishwasher to Executive Sous Chef. Favorite dish: Royal Street Pasta + Bread & Butter Service.

Meet Chef Michael Sibert

USA TODAY Restaurants of the Year 2026 • Food Network Chopped Champion • South Carolina Chef Ambassador

Chef Michael Sibert is the award-winning chef and owner of White Wine & Butter, the nationally recognized restaurant named to USA TODAY’s Restaurants of the Year 2026, placing it among the country’s top dining destinations. A Greenwood, South Carolina native, Sibert studied at Cornell University and the Culinary Institute of the Carolinas, becoming an executive chef at just twenty-two years old.

His culinary talent has earned national recognition through appearances on Food Network’s Guy’s Grocery Games and as the 2025 Chopped Champion. In 2024, he was selected as a South Carolina Chef Ambassador, representing the state’s vibrant culinary culture and hospitality industry.

At White Wine & Butter, Chef Sibert brings together Southern hospitality, Louisiana flavor, and global influences to create memorable dining experiences rooted in exceptional ingredients, thoughtful technique, and genuine hospitality. His mission is simple: create food that brings people together and reflects the best of South Carolina’s growing culinary scene.
