✨Happy Tuesday! ✨Let’s do some pizza history! 🍕

Pizza Hut officially holds the Guinness World Record for the largest pizza ever built—

Pizza Hut celebrated the return of the “Big New Yorker” in early 2023 after a 24-year absence from the permanent menu because customers had been begging them to bring it back for over two decades. To mark the occasion "in a big way," they teamed up with YouTuber Airrack to build the world-record-breaking 13,990-square-foot giant pie. That is roughly the size of three full basketball courts! 🏀

Here is how they smashed the previous 2012 record held by Rome, Italy:
🥖 13,653 pounds of dough
🍅 4,948 pounds of sweet marinara sauce
🧀 Over 8,800 pounds of gooey cheese
🍕 630,496 slices of pepperoni

How did they bake it? A crew worked round-the-clock for 48 hours to assemble the massive pie on the floor. Because it wouldn't fit in a normal kitchen, they engineered a custom, mobile heating apparatus that rolled over the pizza to bake it perfectly in sections!

🛠️🔥The best part? Zero waste! All 68,000 individual slices were immediately boxed up and donated to local Los Angeles food banks and charities to feed the community.

September 11, 2001. Today we remember.

We remember the lives that were taken, the families who were forever changed, and the heroes who ran toward danger while others were running away.

We remember the firefighters, police officers, EMTs, military members, first responders, and ordinary people who showed extraordinary courage.

We remember the moments of fear, the moments of heartbreak, but also the incredible acts of kindness, compassion, and unity that followed.

Twenty-five years later, the world has changed, but the memories remain.

Hello P.F.G. fans and friends. We have some bad news that will lead to better news. We will be serving only pizza, salads, and cold sandwich options this Wednesday and Thursday. We are making some changes and I could not quite finish in time for this Wednesday, so our grill will be off until Friday. Sorry for any inconvenience this causes. We are starting the process of getting the shop ready for some larger changes along with an updated menu. We will be offering more of our panuozzos to keep some variety. **Dough training in progress 🐛➡️🦋**

Meet the doughapillars. Every one of those dough balls in the bin is currently in its awkward phase — cold, cramped, absolutely convinced nothing good is happening to it right now.

That gorgeous finished pie on top? That's the first "butterfly" of this past Sunday. That's the "I did the work and it paid off" version of what's sitting in those bins as we speak.

Come Wednesday, this whole batch emerges. 200 corporate lunch guests are about to have their Wednesday made by doughapillars that, right now, have no idea they're about to grow wings.

Good things take time. Great pizza takes 4 days and a full metamorphosis. 🦋🍕

**What a night for the PFG Pizza crew! 🍕❤️**

We had the honor of celebrating with **two amazing couples in one evening.**

Our first stop was a wedding rehearsal dinner, where guests enjoyed our Spicy Goat, Slipped Mickey, Pappy's Boy, Margherita, Pepperoni, and plain cheese pizzas. We even left some extra pies behind for late-night snacking.

Just 30 minutes later, we were serving a wedding after-party from 9 PM to midnight, keeping the celebration going with our late-night pizza package and a fantastic group of guests.

A huge congratulations to both couples! It was pretty special to be part of a rehearsal dinner and a wedding after-party all in the same night.

Whether it's weddings, rehearsal dinners, after-parties, corporate events, birthdays, or backyard celebrations, our mobile pizza trucks are ready to bring the party.
