Alright, I need a minute again, because apparently I keep needing one lately.

August was our busiest month ever. Then September 4th happened, and it became our busiest single day ever. Two records in the same stretch, and I’m still sitting here a little stunned by both of them.

I keep saying variations of the same thing in these posts, but it’s true every time — this isn’t a marketing budget win. It’s not an algorithm. It’s every single person who opened the app and chose two local guys over a company worth billions of dollars. That’s not a small thing, and I never want to talk about it like it is.

We don’t have what the big guys have. We don’t have their funding, their name recognition, their army of engineers. What we have is this community, choosing us anyway, over and over, and honestly outworking every disadvantage we started with.

So thank you. Genuinely, humbly, all of you — customers, partners, drivers, everyone who’s ever tagged a restaurant or told a friend. You’re the reason both of those records exist. We just got to watch it happen.

Dustin here! I need a minute for this one, so bear with me.

August was our highest volume month since we opened last May. Full stop. Every month since we started this, and this one topped them all.

I want to actually sit with that for a second instead of just posting a number and moving on. This isn’t an ad budget win or an algorithm doing its job. It’s every customer who chose us over something easier. Every restaurant and merchant who took a chance on two guys with an idea and not much else to point to yet. Every driver who showed up, represented us well, and made a customer’s night a little easier. It’s this whole community, honestly, deciding a small local thing was worth backing.

I don’t think I’ll ever get used to that. I hope I don’t.

So thank you. Genuinely, all of you — customers, partners, drivers, everyone who’s told a friend or tagged a restaurant or just given us a shot. Two guys and a lot of stubbornness got us here. You’re the reason it kept going.
