Sometimes growth looks less like becoming something new, and more like coming home to who you’ve been all along.

What began as Sweetgrass N’ Sips has always been about more than drinks. At the heart of it all has always been the same thing: connection, community, creating spaces others feel welcome, and sharing good things—all things.

When I first moved to the island, I was looking for ways to connect—to meet people, get involved, and feel a little more rooted in this community that was quickly becoming home. Somewhere along the way, Sweetgrass N’ Sips became one of those ways. What started as a little handcrafted beverage pop-up gave us the chance to show up, meet our neighbors, support community events, and build connections we probably never would have otherwise.

This was always meant to be about more than what was in the cup.

That’s led us here. We’ve been quietly working on something new. With a full heart, we’re excited to introduce our new name:

✨The Porch. ✨

The Porch is rooted in the idea that gathering doesn’t need four walls. It can happen anywhere. At a pop-up, a school fundraiser, a market, a ball game, a community event, a craft night, or in any little corner where people choose to come together. To us, a porch isn’t really about the structure.

It’s about pulling up a chair.
Sharing a story.
Meeting somebody new.
Where there’s always room for one more.
Staying a little longer than you planned.
Knowing you’re not alone.
Seeing a familiar face.

And wherever The Porch pops up, there’s a place for you. 🧡
