Welcome to Southern Idaho Off-Road Association.

We're thrilled to have you join us! To officially become a member of our club, all you need to do is attend two events. Whether you're a seasoned off-roader or just getting started, our events include meetings where we discuss club activities, upcoming trips, and everything 4x4-related, and runs—our thrilling off-road adventures where you can test your vehicle’s limits and bond with fellow enthusiasts.

Once you've attended two events, your membership will be put to a vote by current members. This process ensures we're all a good fit for each other, as we value camaraderie and shared passion for off-roading. If you're voted in, you'll officially be part of our family and gain access to all the club's benefits, from exclusive trail rides to special events and much more.

🌲🚫 IMPORTANT NOTICE: Temporary Closure of Forest Service Roads and Trails 🚫🌲

Hey everyone! Just a friendly reminder that the roads and trails on Forest Service land in the South Hills remain closed through May 15th. We know the warm weather has everyone itching to get out and explore, but it's crucial to prioritize safety and environmental preservation.

Despite the tempting sunshine, many areas are still quite muddy, and there are significant obstacles, like the massive snowdrift on Oakley Rogerson Road east of Deadline Ridge, making some routes impassable. Let's give nature a chance to dry out and recover!

Your patience and cooperation are greatly appreciated as we work to maintain the beauty and integrity of our beloved outdoor spaces. Stay tuned for updates, and in the meantime, let's all do our part to protect and respect our natural surroundings. 🌿🚵‍♂️

This is the fourth travel management planning environmental assessment that has been released in the Owyhee's area of Idaho within the past 6 months. Because of engagement of the motorized community, the alternatives presented reflect the need for motorized access. Comments until February 12, 2024.

Road Closures

Starting tomorrow, December 1st the following roads going onto Forest Service land in Twin Falls County will be closed to all vehicles except over snow vehicles:
Oakley Rogerson Road (500 Road)
Indian Springs
North Cottonwood
Hopper Gulch
Dry Creek
