Is it just us, or did summer go by WAY too fast this year?! 😂

We feel like we just started summer…and now we’re already feeling that chilly air! 🍂🥶 And can you believe that in just a few more months, 2026 will be over?! Seriously…where did the time go? 😂

Anywayyyy…enough about how fast we’re all getting older! 🤣

WE’RE SOON COMING BACK! 🎉🔥

We are planning to reopen on WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 16th, and while we’ve been taking a little break, our brains definitely have NOT been on vacation. 😂

So… WHAT’S NEW? 👀

We have been incredibly blessed by this community since the beginning of Meat The Skewers. Your support has helped our little food truck grow and continue doing what we love. We truly believe that when God blesses us, those blessings are meant to be shared. 🙏❤️

That’s why, beginning September 16th through December 31st, 2026, Meat The Skewers will donate 5% of ALL our sales to MUSTARD SEEDS MINISTRIES here in Twin Falls. ❤️

This community has supported us, encouraged us, and helped keep our little business going. Now, we want to turn a portion of every meal you purchase into something that can help someone else in our community.

So when you eat with us this winter, you’re not only supporting our small business—you’re helping us give back. ❤️

😂😂 WELL… OUR BREAK IS OVER!

We are done sleeping… 😴
We are done couch-potatoing… 🛋️🥔
We are done pretending we don’t hear the skewers calling our names… 🍢👂😂

VACATION MODE: OFF! ❌
CHEF MODE: ON! 🔥

The pots are back on our heads. 🍳😂
The tongs are back in our hands.
And somebody better warn the grill… WE’RE COMING BACK! 🔥🔥🔥

Of course, these two people couldn’t do it alone. 😂❤️ Behind every skewer, every crazy-busy event, every long day, and every plate we serve is our amazing Meat The Skewers team.

We truly couldn’t do what we do without them. ❤️🙏

No words can truly describe how much we, the Meat The Skewers team, appreciate all of your incredible support this summer season! 🙏🌹

The past three weeks have been incredibly busy, with back-to-back county fairs and rodeos. Although we have worked long, hard days, our hearts have been filled with joy and gratitude while serving each and every one of you. Seeing your familiar faces, meeting new customers, and watching you enjoy our food makes all the hard work worthwhile. ❤️

We would gladly do it again and again, and we hope to continue serving you for many more years to come! 🙏

As much as we wish we were still young enough to just keep going and going 😄, our bodies are telling us, “Maybe it’s time to take a little break, rest, and recharge.” And we’ve decided we should probably listen! 😊

So, Meat The Skewers will be taking a short break to give our team some well-deserved time to rest and recover. We’ll be back in September, refreshed and ready to serve you again! We’ll keep you updated as soon as we have our exact reopening date.
