Let me tell you about my God… Part,IDK
There was so much beauty in the One Sweet Year Celebration🥹
As I reflect back on this year, I start with an opportunity in which I initially planned on it being a one month pop up to gain more exposure for the business, which then blew my mind in ways that God provided each and every month to keep going. Every month I stayed longer, the question consistently asked is “how long will you be here?” And all I can say is , “until God says we’re done”. This was a leap of faith and every month it continues to be another yes to God even when my natural eyesight tells me that we’re done and there are moments when I want to honestly give up. This one year has been a season of surrender,stretching and strengthening my faith. Since being a full time founder and CEO, I have been on this journey of trust training and relearning that I am only a steward of the business and everything God has and will give me and to simply trust him with it all because it’s not even mine to begin with. I may not see the full picture, but Jesus does and I need to be ok with that.
I’ll never forget at the beginning of last year asking God for a stronger community and to see it unfold, makes my heart smile. I could be nothing but grateful. As easy as it is for me to celebrate others, occasionally I forget to celebrate even “the small wins” because I’ll unconsciously get caught up in “the next thing”. This was initially going to be just another day for me, but thank God for friends and family who want to pour into you. This day reflected that. With the huge help of Miesha Theresa Brown and many others , I just want to say THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart from any and every contribution you all have ever made to make this business be what it is today and I couldn’t have done without you all🫶🏾.
