Made it to the royalty reunion luncheon after the parade yesterday & had a great time! I'm so glad I could reconnect with these gals & others who shared in the honor of representing our Walla Walla Fair & Frontier Days!🩷🐎

Haaaay!! How can it already be fair time?! Summer always goes by in a blink, but especially August! We took a few days off during the first week for my birthday & our wedding anniversary....nothing super exciting, but a few days to relax at home was nice.
And now here we are! I have so many great memories of being involved at fair & this year happens to be a reunion year for past royalty. Unfortunately our beautiful mare took her last breath this past April & we are without a horse for the first time in 30 years. I've had a bit of a heavy heart for a few different reasons this year & this reality is one of them. Life changes... trying to adjust. I will miss riding in the parade with my court this year for sure 🥺 but our group of 5 is all planning to attend the luncheon & I know we'll enjoy reminiscing about our special year of 1986 & catching up a bit.
