A while back, I was in a really bad accident that shook me harder than I expected. It forced me to slow down, reset, and really look at life differently. Spending time with my daughters and family in Savannah, reconnecting with the water, the stillness, and life itself, brought me back to a creative place I hadn’t felt in a long time. It reminded me of who I am and what I’m meant to create.
Today feels like Sushi Saturday.
Crispy Sushi Tacos — delicate sushi wrappers flash-fried into golden, crisp taco shells, filled with seasoned sticky rice, chilled crab, buttery seared scallops, fresh avocado, and shaved cucumber for brightness and crunch. Finished with crispy fried scallions and a smooth wasabi crema that ties everything together with heat and creaminess.
It’s playful, bold, and elevated — street-food energy with chef-level ex*****on. Crunchy, creamy, fresh, and rich all at once.
Sometimes life slows you down just enough to bring you back to your purpose… and this is what that looks like on a plate.
