Food For Hope Providing nutritious food to children in need We provide nutritious food to thousands of students in Adams County each week.

Many children in our community struggle with hunger on the weekends, and any time they do not have access to lunch at school. Our mission is to EMPOWER and NOURISH the future of our community so that they can thrive among their peers.

Did you know it's Hunger Action Month?

🍎🥦 This school year, Food for Hope is on a mission: MORE fresh fruits and veggies in our food pantries! Our families and students LOVE fresh foods.

Our Fresh Hope, Fresh Starts 26-27 initiative is working to get healthy, fresh produce to families all year long — and our refrigerated truck, Little Clem 🚚❄️, is out there making it happen, rain or shine.

More fresh food. More hope. Let's do this together! 💚🍊

Our Fresh Hope, Fresh Starts initiative is working to get healthy, fresh produce to families all year long — and our refrigerated truck, Little Clem 🚚❄️, is out there making it happen, rain or shine. BUT we need a LIFTGATE to make this happen easier for our Volunteers and faster for our families.

Can you help us with your donation, or share this post? Our goal is $12,000 by the end of September so Little Clem can get that Liftgate!

Thank you to The Body Refinery Pilates for raising over $208 during the Pilates & Prost Summer Series, and thanks to Prost Brewing Company for hosting us!

During the event Food for Hope received over 85.14lbs of snacks which totaled 943 individual snacks!

We are extremely thankful for everyone who came out and got a workout in and supported us this past Saturday!

As we welcome the 2026–27 school year, Food for Hope is preparing to meet the growing need for fresh, nutritious food across Adams County. From expanding pantry access and supporting our volunteers to helping Little Clem get a liftgate and gearing up for Bike N Brew, there is so much happening this month!

Thank you to our incredible community, volunteers, donors, and partners for helping us create fresh opportunities and fresh hope for local students and families. 💚

📣UPDATE: It's FRIDAY & Little Clem STILL needs a Lift! 💚

🚛 Today was LAUNCH Day for Little Clem, it was a lot of work to get food bins in and out during our 27J Schools Brighton Delivery this morning! But never fear, our drivers like a challenge....

Our NEW refrigerated truck helps deliver fresh food to local schools and families, but unlike Big Sumo, Little Clem doesn't have a lift gate. That means every box is loaded and unloaded by hand. 🍊

We're raising $12,000 by September 30 to give Little Clem the lift gate it needs to make deliveries safer and easier for volunteers.

Every gift helps us move more fresh food to the families who need it most.

💚 Many of you have been asking us what the need looks like this year for food assistance in our school districts — and here's one clear sign.

Our Hope Center Food Bank in Adams 14 has seen a significant rise in visitors this year — more students, more families, more neighbors needing food assistance than ever before. Also, our Mapleton Public School-Woverine Den Food Pantry has a new option for family shopping in the evenings once a week, due to demand. 🏫

With rising costs and continued uncertainty around SNAP benefits, we expect that need to keep growing.

The wait is over — say hello to Little Clem! 🚛🧡

Last week we told you something BIG was rolling into Food for Hope... here he is!

🍊Little Clem is our new refrigerated truck, ready to move fresh food farther and faster to students and families across Adams County. But he's ready to roll — he just needs a lift (gate).

We're raising $12,000 in 30 days to get Little Clem fully equipped so we can deliver more fresh food, more efficiently, to the schools and families who count on us every week.
