Fire Day has been canceled!

🚨 A MESSAGE FROM THE DESK OF OUR FIRE MARSHAL 🚨

After closely monitoring the weather forecast and considering the safety of everyone involved, we regret to announce that Fire Day 2026 has been canceled.

As we stated in yesterday’s post, the safety of our attendees, vendors, sponsors, volunteers, and staff is always our top priority. This was not an easy decision, and we are truly disappointed that we will not be able to come together with our community this Saturday as planned. However, we will never compromise the safety of those who make this event so special.

We would like to extend a heartfelt THANK YOU to all of our sponsors, vendors, volunteers, and staff members who have worked tirelessly to help make Fire Day 2026 a reality. Your time, hard work, dedication, and support mean more to us than you know. We could not do this without you!

While we are saddened by this decision, we are already looking ahead to Fire Day 2027! We are committed to coming back bigger and better, and we look forward to another opportunity to bring our community together for a great day of family fun, fire service demonstrations, and community fellowship.

Once again, we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and disappointment this cancellation may cause. We appreciate your understanding and continued support of the Lake Cunningham Fire Department.

Please stay safe this weekend, look out for one another, and thank you for being part of our Lake Cunningham Fire Department family! ❤️🚒

Fresh basil picked this morning right here on the farm and made into our homemade Basil Salt! This fresh salt blend is a delicious way to add a fresh, herbaceous flavor to so many things!

Sprinkle it on:
Vegetables
Eggs
Soups, Tomatoes
Potatoes, Salads
Pasta
…and so much more!

A little sprinkle goes a long way!
