After a lot of thought, we have made the difficult decision to close NOLA Scala here in Taylor, TX.
This was not an easy choice, but the reality is that we simply do not have enough consistent business to keep the concept operational. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who supported NOLA Scala, dined with us, shared a meal, brought friends in, and gave the concept a chance. Your support has meant more than you know.
With that being said, this is not goodbye, but it is the beginning of something new.
We are excited to announce that taking its place will be Kabooshi Lounge, a new concept from the team at Second Street Station. Kabooshi will bring together bold sushi, Japanese-inspired flavors, Texas personality, craft cocktails, and a fun, energetic atmosphere right here in Downtown Taylor.
We have been listening, learning, and building something we believe will be a better fit for our community and our space. We cannot wait to share more details soon, including menu previews, opening updates, and a few surprises along the way.
Thank you again for supporting us through every chapter. We hope you will join us as we turn the page and bring Kabooshi Lounge at Second Street Station to life.
