Sorry we’ve been taking our time with the grand opening posts 💀

Thank you to the many many people who have shared our social media posts, told their friends about our spot, and wrote us good reviews. You are helping us gain turf in the digital war. We appreciate you, soldier.

Thank you to The Pocono Record for publishing an article about us and putting us on the front page of their September 18th edition of the daily newspaper. It has helped us a lot and feels super surreal. Thank you, Bryan. It was great talking to you.

Thank you Wray for locking in behind the counter and taking orders all day Saturday while we were the busiest we’ve ever been. We didn’t plan it, but without your help, we would not have been able to manage. Thank you so much. We owe you one.

Thank you Tabi for the beautiful live painting of the shop. You and Justice have spent more time here than anyone else probably and it’s a memorable time each time you grace us with your presence. You guys are the best.

Thank you Chrissy for our beautifully embroidered aprons. You went above and beyond. I swear I become a different person when I put that on! We are so grateful.

Thank you Nai for showing us the ropes, building something great, and plugging us in. You’ll always be a VIP at Nettario’s.

This list is not exhaustive. We owe so many more thank yous to everyone in our little world. All the glory is God’s. Without the prayers of our saints, Saint Nektarios, Saint Patrick, and our most holy lady Theotokos, this could never have been a thing. Thank you to everyone who prayed for our success. We’re still over here shining from the events of the week! 🌟

Thank you to everyone who came out last Saturday to support us. The Love and support from everyone— even people I haven’t seen in a decade or more has instilled a warmth in my heart I will carry with me forever. We have more people to thank but I doubt we can name all who deserve it.

If it weren’t for my grandparents, (all 3 of them) we couldn’t have gotten this an inch off the ground. Thank you Grammy for letting me use the car every single day. Thank you Grandma for praying for me every single day. And thank you Poppy for quietly supporting us in ways that are too tremendous to even articulate. We Love you. I’ve been blessed with an amazing family.

Both of our parents have helped us in tremendous ways and we are so grateful. Thank you Mama for believing in us and supporting us when we were narrowly skating by with our opening expenses. Thank you for helping keep this ship afloat. And for everything else. Thank you Mr. and Mrs. Balbuena for making 5 trips to the store, keeping our fridge stocked— without your willingness to help in times of need, we would have had a house full of unfulfilled customers. Thank you for being dependable, as you always have been for us. Shel, Ed, Jessica, Edward, Greg and T, We Love you all.

On Saturday, September 19th, 2026, we held our official grand opening of Nettario’s Coffee And Tea.

We can both say, this has been the biggest day of our lives to date. So many people in our community came together to make this happen in a way we’ve never seen before and our gratitude is beyond words. Every person in our lives has contributed in some small way but most contributed in a big way. Our speeches were primarily a list of thank yous. We want to thank our families, our friends, our Church, and our patrons.

We want to thank again the Pocono Chamber of Commerce. Namely Lindsay, Sierra, and Michael— Thank you for the hard work, last minute planning, and amazing photography. The Monroe County Board of Commissioners, the office of Rep. Maureen Madden, and especially Senator Rosemary Brown for coming in person— we appreciate the hard work you do protecting the people of Monroe County. Thank you for fitting us into your busy schedule. May the intercessions of St. Marina help you to persevere in your daily battles. You will always have friends at Nettario’s.

We want to thank the Fisher Family for all of the amazing food, the hard work setting up, and for being so willing to support us from our very first day soft opening. We Love you Nate, Tess, Kyra, Whitney, Owen and Julia. Our gratitude is ineffable.

We want to thank Fr. Vjekoslav and Holy Trinity Orthodox Church and all of our parish family for coming out to support, for praying for us, and for bestowing God’s blessing upon our shop. On Friday, the day before the Grand Opening, we held a blessing of the shop. Experiencing the shop filled shoulder to shoulder with Christians in prayer, the smell of incense, and hearing the Troparion sung by so many is among the most beautiful things I’ve ever witnessed. Thank you and we Love you.

We want to thank both of our families— our parents and grandparents, my girlfriend Olivia, our sisters Amber and Jill, and everyone else who has frequented the shop in the months leading up to this.

There are so so many people we owe thank yous too. I began trying to list them all and ran out of space. More to come. We Love you all.

One of our parishioners will have the Grand Opening of his Coffee Shop Nettario's on Saturday, September 19th, at 2pm. The coffee shop is located in Tannersville on route 611. Please see the flier for more information.
