Safety and quality are our top priorities, and with the weather looking a bit volatile today, we’ve made the call to sit out the Kenwood Market. We’re definitely going to miss seeing all your friendly faces!

Ever wondered why we put roast dates on our bags? 🧐

It’s not just to show off how fresh it is. It’s actually a guide for when your coffee will taste its absolute BEST.

There’s a big difference between 'freshly roasted' and 'fresh for brewing.' Right after roasting, beans are packed with CO2. If you brew immediately, that gas acts as a shield, blocking water from getting to the flavors. The result? A cup that tastes flat, metallic, or just... off.

This is called degassing. Letting your coffee rest allows that gas to escape so the real sweetness and origin notes can shine. Depending on the roast, this can take anywhere from a few days to two weeks.
