When I tell you we had a TIME! It was everything to experience the motherland with my boys!

Puerto Rico will forever be one of the most beautiful places in the world to me... but coming back this time felt different. In between enjoying the beaches, the food, the culture and everything that makes this island so special, I kept getting reminders of the reality people here are living every day.

Billions in recovery funds have been given, yet people are still dealing with unreliable power, water issues and drought, while money continues to be mismanaged. All while more of the island is being bought out and becoming less affordable for the Puerto Ricans who actually LIVE there.

It was a weird feeling to look around and see paradise while knowing the people who call this paradise home are still fighting for BASIC things.

Puerto Rico is more than beautiful beaches and a vacation destination. It’s our culture. It’s our people. It’s HOME. 🇵🇷❤️ And the people of Puerto Rico deserve better.
