Creamy Garlic Parmesan Chicken Pasta
Ingredients:
12 oz fettuccine pasta (or pasta of choice)
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 lb chicken breast, cut into bite-sized strips
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Salt and black pepper to taste
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
2 cups chicken broth
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
Directions:
Cook pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Season chicken with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Cook for 5–6 minutes until golden brown and fully cooked. Remove and set aside.
In the same skillet, melt butter. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute. Slowly whisk in chicken broth, ensuring no lumps remain.
Add heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in Parmesan and mozzarella until melted and creamy.
Return chicken to skillet and toss with the sauce. Add pasta and mix well to coat.
Garnish with fresh parsley and extra Parmesan before serving.
