🍎 Fall Is Rolling In!

You know what that means… APPLES! 🍎🍂

We’re getting our apple filling made up, and we are already dreaming about one of our favorite fall treats — Apple Pie Egg Rolls!

We hand-select our apples, spiral cut them, and then dice them into those perfect little morsels of apple goodness. Why? Because there’s nothing worse than taking a bite and having one giant chunk of apple come flying out! 😂

We want every bite to have that perfect combination of apple, spice and deliciousness. 🥰

And with these cooler mornings, beautiful days and all the signs of fall starting to show up around us… we are READY! 🍂

🍂🎃 THE PATCH at Joyful Blooms Flower Farm is opening this weekend … WE’RE ROLLIN IN OCTOBER! 🎃🍂

Fall is officially making its way to The Patch at Joyful Blooms Flower Farm! 🍁🌻
The Patch opens THIS WEEKEND — September 26 and will be open Saturdays & Sundays through Halloween, packed with all kinds of fall fun:

🐐 Petting Zoo
🌽 Corn Pit
🌾 Haystack Hill
👧 Toddler Zone
🎳 Pumpkin Bowling
…and plenty more!
Admission is $8/person (kids 2 & under are FREE), vendors vary by date.

We’ll be bringing the not-so-ordinary egg rolls to The Patch three dates from 10 AM–3 PM

So yes, you can absolutely head out there before we arrive… but why not plan your visit for one of our three days and make it a full-on fall adventure?! 😂🍂

Come wander through The Patch, get those gorgeous autumn pictures, let the kids burn off some energy, soak up all that fall goodness — and grab yourself a hot, crispy egg roll while you’re there! We will have apple pie and pumpkin spice sweet egg rolls!

Did you know we can now label your egg rolls? 👀

If you’re ordering several different flavors (to take advantage of our Mix and Match Pick 3, 4 or 5) and need to keep track of which one is which, just tell us when you order! We can use an edible food-safe pen to label them before they ever hit the fryer. 🙌

And don't worry… it’s the same kind of edible pen used to decorate cookies! 😂

So whether you're mixing up flavors for the family, or just really want to make sure that Crab Cake ends up in YOUR hands… we've got you covered! 💚

🇺🇸 A WEEKEND OF REMEMBRANCE — 25 YEARS LATER 🇺🇸

We are feeling incredibly humbled and honored to be part of the Center of the Nation 9/11 Remembrance at Hermann Park this weekend.

As we reflect on 25 years ago and that September morning that changed our lives forever, we are reminded of the importance of coming together — to remember, to honor, and to never forget.

At Hermann Park, there will be a Flag Memorial with a flag representing each person who perished on September 11, 2001. There will also be a moment of silence Friday morning, a walk Friday evening, and a blood drive on Saturday. ❤️🇺🇸

And while we are honored to be there as part of this weekend, we’ll also be bringing along some of your favorite not-so-ordinary egg rolls. 🥚

🇺🇸 HAPPY LABOR DAY FROM ROLLIN IN THE HILLS! 🇺🇸

Today is a good day to slow down for a minute and appreciate the people who work hard, keep showing up, and keep our communities moving. ❤️

As a small, family-owned business, we know firsthand that there is a LOT that happens behind the scenes. There’s the cooking, prep, shopping, cleaning, loading, unloading, planning, driving, fixing, restocking… and then there’s actually getting to roll up the window and serve you! 😂🥚🚚

It may not always feel like work when you’re doing something you love, but it definitely takes a whole lot of work to keep a little business rolling.

So today we want to say THANK YOU to all of you who work hard — whether you’re working in a business, on a farm or ranch, in an office, on the road, in a school, taking care of a family, serving our community, or doing one of the countless jobs that often goes unnoticed.

And a special THANK YOU to everyone who has supported Rollin in the Hills this season. Every order, share, recommendation, repeat visit and “I saw you on Facebook!” means more to us than you know. ❤️

But before we tell you what we’re bringing tomorrow, we want to take a minute to say THANK YOU, RAPID CITY! ❤️ We have been absolutely blown away by the way Rapid City has welcomed us as the newbie in town.

We’ve been open almost two seasons now, but we didn’t venture down to Rapid City at all last year. Being from Belle Fourche, it’s a bit of a trek for us — and when diesel costs what it does these days, we always want to make sure a trip to Rapid City is worth the time, effort and fuel! 😂⛽ And for the most part you guys have absolutely shown us that it is.

Thank you to everyone who has come out to Family Food Truck Night, tracked us down at another location, brought friends, came back for seconds, or simply made the trip because you needed to get your egg roll fix!

It means more to our little family-owned business than you probably realize. ❤️
And if we can make it work, we’re hoping to try a day at Founders Park! 👀
