Just picked up a HUGE box of Goodies from Miracle Point Farms. I'll be using it in my new fall menu, which includes a fabulous Savory Butternut Squash and Apple Strudel!

Thanksgiving is right around the corner! I am discounting the price of my pound cakes for the Holiday Season to $18.00. Call or e-mail to place an order. I also bake Apple Pies, Rosemary Scented Apple Pies, and can do just appetizers and bread for the big Turkey Day!

I thought this was interesting. It's what I'm all about as well as making the food we eat healthier and still taste as good as what we pay so much for in the restaurants. We need to support our local farmers and businesses which in turn will support our community.

In cooking, the process of clarification entails straining out extraneous muck from liquids so that they might be pure, clear and ideal for consumption. With this series on food terminology we're attempting to do the same.
