The Hydration Station is open at St. Andrews on Frasier Street. Stop on by to get an ice cold drink or fill your water bottle for FREE. We will be here today, Friday, and tomorrow, Saturday of the festival. All donations will go toward the free meals we serve every week, but remember our motto is: donations are accepted, they are never expected. PS we have water for your fur baby too.

Arts Fest will soon be upon us!! The Cafe is operating the Hydration Station in front of the church to keep festival goers refreshed. We can always use volunteers, so if you would like to do a 2 hour shift (or whatever you can manage) sign up today!

Dinner tonight will be beef skewers, golden splendid rice, and vegetable medley. As always dinner is FREE and served from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. At Saint Andrews Episcopal Church at the corner of Foster and Frazier in State College.

The Community Cafe would like to thank everyone who donated or shared! We did fantastically well and we still have our share of the stretch pool to come. We would like to thank Centre Gives and as always a hearty thanks to all our volunteers, but most importantly to all who attend our weekly free meals.

What does a pot of onions being sautéed have in common with our 2026 Centre Gives Campaign? Both are the start of something big! The onions are the first step in most of our soups, and right now is hour 4 of the 36 hour Centre Gives giving window. The Community Cafe runs on 100% volunteer efforts and lots of donated ingredients, but we still need money to operate. Help us continue to provide food and community for thousands of people every year by donating. Thanks for reading and please share this post!

How do you make a delicious meal and serve it free to anyone who cares to come by, and repeat every Thursday for 15+ years? It takes lots of volunteers, tons of dedication, and money.
