1897 Tavern on the Hill

Grab your copy of the Mountain Eagle and check out a great article by our friend, Liz Page, about “The Barber.” She captured the spirit of the weekend perfectly.

We had such an incredible time and are so grateful for everyone who came out and shared it with us.

This one’s for Jon. ❤️

We’re excited to welcome everyone to THE BARBER this Saturday and Sunday at Stamford Golf Club. Our annual 2‑man scramble is once again a full field, and we’re looking forward to a great weekend of golf and camaraderie.

Tee times begin at 7:30am on Saturday. If you haven’t made your time yet, please check in with the Pro Shop.

This event holds special meaning for us as we honor our great friend Jon Barber, whose spirit, humor, and love for the Club continue to inspire us. We miss him dearly and are proud to carry on this tradition in his name.

2026 Rules Update:
1st Flight — Blue Tees
Flights 2–5 — White Tees
*Seniors: Rule of 80
(must be 65+ and age + green‑tee handicap = 80)
• Qualifying players may compete in any flight except Championship
• Rule of 80 players may play from the Green Tees

Looking forward to a fantastic weekend at the Club.
