Our Story

We are an elegant 1847 historic register manor home and charming barn on three willow lined acres situated in the lush green farmland of Penns Valley, just fifteen miles east of State College along Route 45. We host weddings, rehearsal dinners, private dinners and retreats and offer Gourmet-to-Go dinners, cooking classes and a retail shop of Hummingbird Room favorites. We are also the home of Miss Ruby’s Supper Club, our monthly pop-up restaurant featuring good things from our gardens, locally foraged ingredients, house cured charcuterie, homemade cheeses and fresh baked breads and magnificent desserts... fresh, seasonal and local.
