Good morning everyone. I was planning on heading out to Harvest Moon Restaurant in Rockford, Wa. today.

BUT I’ve been hit with a terrible cold and it looks like I get to spend the day in bed resting so I can be ready for my upcoming work week. Uggh.

I don’t ever ask or expect a restaurant to give me a gift card after one of my reviews. But if they offer it, I get really excited to be able to share that with you guys.

I’ve done four reviews and we’ve received two gift cards so far. Not bad.

Remi’s Cafe gave me a $25 gift card and I would love to give that to somebody today. Please tag someone you would like to take to breakfast or lunch at Remi‘s and I will choose a random winner before the day is over.

Episode 4 - We visit Remi’s Cafe

Take a 10 minute ride north and visit a new place called Remi’s Cafe. They opened in July of 2025 and serve breakfast and lunch.

You can tell a lot about a restaurant by its employees. I was lucky enough to be served by Sarah today who has been working here since day one.  she said she loves that the owners are all in, you’ll see them there all the time working, being involved.

I’m not kidding when I tell you that my breakfast was outstanding. I was not expecting the amazing flavor. I had the southwestern Benedict with avocado and tomato.

Lemon cloud pancakes with ricotta mixed into the batter. The pancakes are topped with fresh lemon and freshly cut strawberries with homemade whipped cream. They use a 100% maple syrup and real butter.

The cinnamon rolls are made from scratch and are a meal by themselves. The mimosa flight was an added bonus too.🩷

I’ve been receiving feedback from restaurant owners saying that new customers have been visiting them after our videos were posted.

That is quite literally the best news I could ever ask for.

It’s not about likes. It’s not about money. It’s not about anything other than using social media to help introduce folks to places they may not even know about.
