Tickets are now on sale for our first ever Taste of Brunchkin dining experience at Batch Bakeshop! For $22, you get - aebleskiver, drink of your choice (bottomless coffee from Ladder Coffee, iced Mandala Chai, selected Winterwoods Tea, or sparkling rhubarb lemonade), Smorrebrodkin (smoked salmon, bacon, cheeses, eggs, greens, and house pickled vegetables served family style with savory potato chive waffles), and an assortment of baked goods for dessert.

Friends! We are taking a few weeks off of our Sunday brunches and coming back with Brunchkin 2.0 in September.

One of our favorite aspects of our brunch service is the small menu that lets us experiment with new dishes and flavors. If you’ve been in recently, you might’ve tried our sour-doughy aebleskivers or green eggs scram.

With that in mind, we’re planning on changing our Batch Bakeshop pop ups from a weekly counter-service restaurant to a monthly rotating prix fixe menu with seatings booked online via our site. Our hope is that this lets us focus on developing a menu of the food we like best, while still allowing you regular opportunities to come in and enjoy Brunchkin. We also hope this alleviates some of the challenges with our limited seating capacity.

We’ll still be offering counter-service baked goods, quiches, and drinks for those that don’t get around to making a reservation in advance (we get it; we’re also last-minute planners). Stay tuned for more information in the next several days when we open up reservations for September, and thanks in advance for your support as Brunchkin continues to evolve.

Thanks so much to The Spokesman-Review for the profile of our upcoming pop up (opening this Sunday) at Batch Bakeshop! We're amazed that there was that much worth writing about, and flattered that the world now knows we're prone to take down a dozen-plus aebleskiver at a time.

Jordan and Charlotte Ripley are the co-creators of Brunchkin, a small, pop-up restaurant that’s open one day a week for brunch beginning Sunday. Seating is limited, and so is the menu, which is gluten-free. There’s room for about 30 to 40 guests at a time, depending on the weather. When it’s warm, diners can sit on the patio. Otherwise, brunch takes place indoors at Batch Bakeshop in Spokane’s West Central neighborhood every Sunday now through early October.
