That’s right! I put TWO pork shoulders on the smoker and let ’em ride LOW & SLOW!

💨 SMOKE, PATIENCE & A WHOLE LOTTA PORK!

No rushing these babies. I wanted that smoke to work its way in, that bark to build up, and that pork to get tender enough to make you wanna slap somebody’s plate!

😂🔥

And THIS is why I love cooking outdoors. There’s something about watching that smoker roll smoke for hours, knowing you’re gonna have some serious barbecue waiting on the other side.

So now you know…

🚨 THE BIG DAVE EATS CRUNCH TEST! 🚨

When I walk into a restaurant and the fried chicken LOOKS this good… there’s only one thing left to do.

PUT IT TO THE CRUNCH TEST! 🍗👂🏾💥

I stopped by The South House in Greer and that fried chicken was looking way too good for me to just sit there and admire it. 😂

So I grabbed a piece, took that first bite, and listened for the sound every fried chicken lover wants to hear…

CRUUUUUNCH! 🔥🍗

Because around here, we don't just judge fried chicken by how it looks. We need that crispy, golden, flavorful coating with that satisfying crunch!

First time EVER visiting Woodside Bistro in Greenville, and let me tell y’all… I WAS WOWED!

The food? 🔥
The atmosphere? 🔥
The whole vibe? 🔥

But then I discovered something I had NEVER seen before…

They pair a SHOT with your beer! 🍺🥃

Now listen… maybe I’ve been living under a rock, but this was a first for Big Dave! 😂
