Today was our big launch of our new ice cream machine!
So naturally a utility contractor hit both the sewer line and main transformer for our neighborhood simultaneously in front of our house today first thing!

On our journey we have;
- Searched every week for 6 months to connect with a commissary.
- Waited for a month without reply to get our paperwork in order.
- Had an undiscovered electrical issue fry our first soft serve machine at our soft opening.
- Had to replace the generator after it lost a 'leg' unexpectedly.
- Worked to minimize 130 degree heat inside the truck to be able to freeze anything.
- Watched our replacement soft serve machine sit 4 hours away from us over the entire missed 4th of July holiday with absolutely no way to do anything about it.

- Now we wait for an electrician to come evaluate the damage from today, as we throw away the melted and ruined. We also very certainly might have just lost all three of our new slushy and soft serve machines. Today, is a very hard day.

Our new soft serve machine has arrived! We're putting 'er through ALL the paces (call us extra careful this time around 🫨🫣) we look forward to rolling it out to you soon! 🥳🤞

We’ve seen ice cream shops all over the country showing their behind the counter temps this week, and we’re wishing we weren’t in the running for highest temperatures. 🔥😎

To keep it manageable we’re running a special menu, we promise it’s still delicious! 🤤

Thank you for rooting for us and helping us avoid heat stroke as we get things dialed in.

Our soft opening last week fried our soft serve machine, we’re still waiting on the replacement. 😩 This morning was our first festival. It did uncover the origin of our electrical issue, our very large generator.

Matt’s now driving to Mississippi to buy a new one. Fortunately, they’re also super cheap! 😳🤪

I’m sorry if we missed you today, we’re not having very much fun without you all either.
