At Milkshakes grave his lily has bloomed. He’s been gone years but this is a reminder to me of his love and affection for the years we had him. Such a gentile soul who would always greet me when I came home. I still miss him. ❤️

Made it to Mashpee farmers market and into Falmouth on Sunday. Had no idea how loud the cicadas were. Beautiful creatures with the strangest lifecycle.

Being creative on this dreary day. Candied some organic orange peels and made some sweet and savory bites. One is a black tahini caramel with toasted pecans, dark chocolate, and orange peel with toasted sesame seeds. The other is a toasted pine nut bark with candied orange peel and smoked sea salt. ❤️

Viewing party for tomorrow from 11:30–1:30 I’ll be cooking my menu to order. I’ve got some great food for you!! Homemade tofu and cabbage dumplings, general Taos tofu with coconut rice and baby bok choy, and the featured dish which is a vegan and gluten-free sweet potato gnocchi in a light tomato and lemon sauce with sautéed mustard greens and crispy oyster mushrooms. You don’t want to miss this!!
