Full-Time Cook / Right-Hand Kitchen Person
Small Café • Great Team • Daytime Hours • Year-Round Position
We’re a busy, fun, locally loved breakfast and lunch café looking for the right person to become a key part of our kitchen team — and my right-hand person.
We’re open 7 days a week from 7 AM–3 PM, which means no dinner shifts and no late nights! This is a full-time, year-round position for someone who enjoys cooking, works well in a fast-paced environment, and wants to be part of a small team where everyone genuinely gets along.
This isn’t a huge restaurant with a revolving door of employees. We’re a small, easy-going crew that works hard, laughs a lot, helps each other out, and treats each other like family. We want someone who fits into that atmosphere and becomes an important part of what we do.
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who is:
* Energetic, upbeat and fun to work with
* Reliable and responsible
* Detail-oriented and takes pride in their food
* Comfortable working in a busy breakfast/lunch kitchen
* Able to stay organized and keep things moving when it gets busy
* A team player who jumps in wherever needed
* Willing and able to work weekends
* Interested in a long-term, year-round position
Kitchen experience is definitely a plus, but attitude, reliability and willingness to learn are just as important to us. We can teach the right person our kitchen and the way we do things.
The Position
You’ll work closely with me, the owner/chef, and eventually become someone I can truly rely on to help run the kitchen and keep things going when I’m not there. I’m looking for a right-hand person who can take ownership of the job, learn our systems, and become an important part of the restaurant.
You’ll also work weekends alongside me, which are some of our busiest and most fun days.
