Also today, we are celebrating Lola’s 10th birthday (click and scroll to see her highlights reel). She lost her mum earlier this year, and she was a bit lost for a while, but she didn’t have too much time to be sad, what with her own kids, Henry and Ruby terrorising her daily. Lola seems to be one of the happiest animals alive, and I’ve said before, loyalty runs through her like ‘Blackpool’ through a stock of rock. She is steady, well-tempered and with a tail the never seems to stop wagging. Welcoming to all people and dogs alike, and with her dreamy eyes, she never fails to cheer anyone up. We could not have wished for a better dog. And, I am sure that all other pet owners, who love their animals in the same way as we love Lola, would agree that, even though we are the ones that feed and shelter them, they bring far more to our lives than we contribute to theirs.
