This past weekend we traveled down to Griffin, GA to compete in the GBA 12th Annual Doc Holliday Festival & BBQ Competition with 36 teams!

Here’s how we placed in each category: 1st pork, 14th ribs, and 19th loin!

Which earned us 6th overall! Congratulations to I'll Be Your Huckleberry (Waylon Weatherford) who took home Grand and Blue Smoke (Tommy Blackmon) who won reserve!

A special thank you to Ewa and Jerry who cooked with us this weekend! And Lou who cooked with us to get her master judge. We had the best time! Shout out to Mike Ratterree with Flaming Hogs who won the Cooking the Doc award! It was well deserved!

This past weekend we traveled down to Sylvester, GA to compete in the GBA Sylvester Swine Festival with 26 teams!

Here’s how we placed in each category:
* 1st pork
* 4th loin
* 11th ribs

We are proud to say we earned the title of Overall Grand Champion! 🎉🔥 Congratulations to Dang Good BBQ Competition Team who won reserve! Huge congratulations to two of the teams who took our BBQ class and both finaled!! One in pork and one in loin!

This past weekend, we made our way to Greenwood, SC for the KCBS South Carolina Festival of Discovery, where we cooked against 75 other teams.

Here’s how we stacked up:
• 3rd in Ribs
• 38th in Brisket
• 59th in Chicken
• 62nd in Pork

Which placed us 42nd overall!

A big congrats to Maya Jane BBQ Co for their Reserve and Cocamoke Smoke BBQ for their Grand Championship win! And congrats to everyone who walked the stage!
