Yesterday was truly a blessing, and I’m so thankful for everyone who came out to The Pelican Pub to show love and support for Rebecca Schneider and her treatments. Because of your kindness and generosity, we had a huge success and were able to raise $1,600.

Thank you to everyone who purchased pulled pork sandwiches and cookies from Laya’s Every single order helped make a difference, and I’m deeply grateful for the support from our community.

A special thank you to The Pelican Pub for having me and for being part of something so meaningful. Your support meant so much.

Rebecca Schneider is facing one of life's hardest battles with strength, courage, and grace, and now it's our turn to lift her up. Every ticket, donation, raffle entry, and silent auction bid helps ease the burden as Rebecca continues her recovery from a stroke while also fighting cancer. This benefit is more than an event - it's a show of love, support, and community for someone who needs it most.
Through The Pelican Pub and Laya’s fundraiser, every meal purchased will help raise money toward her medical bills and ease some of the burden she is carrying. This is more than just a food sale — it's a way to give back, share kindness, and stand beside someone who needs it most. Thank you for helping spread the word and supporting her during this time.
