Feeling gothic whimsy today. 🖤🌙

Ornate piping, climbing roses, dreamy colors, and just the right amount of haunted Victorian birthday party energy. 😂

I’m seriously loving the way this one turned out. There’s something about letting a cake be a little excessive, a little romantic, and a little weird that makes my heart happy.

More cakes that look like they belong in an enchanted haunted mansion, please. 🥀✨

🌙 THE NEXT LUNA DROP IS OPEN 🌙

And because apparently I like to keep everyone on their toes 😅 — Hotplate briefly had this Drop listed for Sunday.

Luna Drops are WEDNESDAYS. Always Wednesday. 🖤
The date has been corrected, and we’re ready to roll.

This week we’ve got:

🌙 The OG — our classic cinnamon roll topped with vanilla bean frosting.

🍎 Caramel Apple Crumble — warm spiced apple, cinnamon, crumble + homemade caramel because subtlety has never really been our thing.

🍫 Cosmic Brownie — our first brownie-inspired Luna Roll and she is going to be RIDICULOUS. Chocolatey, fudgy, nostalgic goodness rolled into one giant Luna.

🌵 Cactus Moon Lemonade — our prickly pear lemonade because obviously you need something to wash all that down with.

🌙 THIS WEEK’S LUNA DROP 🌙

The moon is back with a little bit of nostalgia, a little bourbon, an OG favorite & something to wash it all down. 😏

🍫 COSMIC BROWNIE — Rich, fudgy brownie goodness packed into a soft Luna Roll, finished with chocolate frosting, brownie crumble & those nostalgic rainbow candy pieces.

🍎🥃 BOURBON CARAMEL APPLE — Warm cinnamon-spiced apples, vanilla bean frosting & our homemade bourbon caramel.

🌙 THE OG — The one that started it all. Our soft, gooey cinnamon roll finished with vanilla bean frosting.

🌵🌙 CACTUS MOON LEMONADE — Our refreshing prickly pear lemonade. Sweet, tart & unmistakably Luna.

🌙 A little Luna update!

Life has thrown us a bit of an unexpected curveball, and our little Luna family will be making an unexpected move this weekend.

Because of that, we will not be accepting any NEW orders for the remainder of this week or through the weekend.

✨ If you already have an order placed with us, don’t worry! All current orders will still be fulfilled as scheduled. ✨

I just need to give myself a few days without adding anything else to the books so I can take care of our existing orders while also getting our family moved, settled, and our new baking space organized.

Luna y Leche isn’t going anywhere. 🖤

This is simply a very short pause while we handle life behind the scenes.

Thank you guys endlessly for supporting this little dream of mine and for giving me a little grace while I take care of my family this week.

I genuinely don’t even have words right now. We baked, rolled, frosted, fried, dipped, decorated, lost sleep, questioned our life choices 😂 — and you guys came through and absolutely WIPED US OUT.

This is the kind of moment that makes every 4AM bake, every flour-covered kitchen, and every “what the hell am I doing?” moment worth it. 😭

Everybody wish a BIG happy birthday to the man behind the moon — Nick! 🥳🖤🌙

The dough roller. The emergency ingredient runner. The heavy-lifter. The “Amanda, please sit down for five minutes” department. 😂 And lately, the man who gets handed an apron and told, congratulations, you work here now.

Luna y Leche has been growing faster than we ever expected, and behind so many of these crazy bake days is Nick — jumping in wherever I need him, taking over roll duty when I’m drowning in cake pops, making last-minute store runs, loading up for events, and helping me turn this little dream into something real.

And somehow, he gets to spend his birthday at the Country Carnival with Luna today. 🎡😂

So if you see him, make sure you tell him HAPPY 37TH BIRTHDAY! 🎂

Happy birthday, babe. Thank you for being part of the chaos, the late nights, the flour-covered kitchen, and this wild little thing we’re building. 🖤

🎡 HAPPY FRIDAY, MOON BABES! 🌙✨

The Luna kitchen has been in COUNTRY CARNIVAL MODE. 🤠🎪

Today is all hands on deck getting ready for the CAL Ranch Country Carnival TOMORROW! We’ve got dough to make, cake pops to dip, lemonade to prep, and an absolutely unreasonable amount of sugar about to take over this kitchen. 😂

We’re bringing some FUN carnival goodies tomorrow, including our Funnel Cake Cini Minis, Caramel Apple Rolls, Banana Pudding Rolls, Blueberry Lemon Rolls, cake pops + ice-cold Luna lemonades. 🤤

A little quiet around here… because we’re officially in CARNIVAL MODE. 🎪🌙

The Luna kitchen is already moving this morning, and for the next two days, we’re going to be a little quieter on socials while we bake our b***y off. 😂

We’ve got a LOT to make for Saturday; rolls, cake pops, and all the carnival goodness we can possibly fit into one little kitchen.

So if you don’t hear from us quite as much, just know there’s probably flour everywhere, something proofing on the counter, and me questioning how I got myself into this. 🫠😂 (but seriously so grateful 🥲)
