Restaurant Update!

As promised, we wanted to give you another sneak peek at what we've been working on at the restaurant!

Over the past few weeks, we've stayed busy adding a new van to our catering fleet, expanding our parking lot with a new concrete area where our smoker will be permanently located, and continuing construction inside the restaurant.
Our bathrooms are nearly finished with tile work, and the bar area is starting to come together! There is still plenty of work ahead, but we're making great progress and are still planning to open near the end of this year.

Thank you all for following along and for your continued support. We can't wait to share more updates in the near future!

Our Fleet Continues to Grow! 🚐

Over the past few years, we’ve continued to add catering trailers to help us meet the growing demand for our catering services. Now, we’re excited to add something new to the Covered Bridge fleet with our first catering van!

After getting it outfitted for events, we finally put it to work at one of our weddings this past weekend. It was exciting to see another piece of our business come together!

We truly appreciate everyone who has supported and trusted us with your special events.

Whether you’re planning a wedding, corporate event, private party, or any other celebration, we’d love the opportunity to help make your event special!

🚣‍♂️ Come see us tomorrow at the 2026 Columbus Riverfest, presented by United Way of Bartholomew County!

We'll be serving up all your BBQ favorites, from 11:00-4:00.

While you're there, cheer on your favorite team as they race their cardboard boats at Mill Race, in support of a fantastic cause. It's a fun day for the whole family, and we can't wait to be a part of it!

A huge shoutout to our amazing team!

While October and June are normally our busiest months of the year, this past week was definitely one for the books!

We kicked off the week on Sunday at the I Do Tour Bridal Show, in Greenwood, while also opening at the Johnson County Fair. From there, it never slowed down.

Over the course of the week, Covered Bridge catered 12 events and served more than 2,000 guests covering 47 shifts. And that's not including all the customers we served from our food truck at the Johnson County Fair.

Many of our staff have full-time jobs, families, and other responsibilities outside of Covered Bridge. But everyone came together, put in the extra hours, and made it happen.

We're incredibly grateful for every member of our team. It takes everyone working together to provide the level of food and service we strive for, and we couldn't have done it without everyone's dedication and hard work.

Thank you to our entire Covered Bridge family, we truly appreciate each and every one of you!
