It’s been an incredible 15 months and this dream that started in Miami a long time ago, has finally reached an end. Come mid-January, Papá Changó will be serving one last horchata latte to Seattle. Although the business has been growing and it has been incredible to see all of the achievements Papá Changó has made, we have reached a point where we either need to grow the cafe or pursue other dreams. For right now, we’ve decided that the time is right for us to chase those dreams that reach beyond Papá Changó. We want to honor the incredibly loyal customer base that has poured into the shop to give us a try over the last year. What an amazing feeling to have created a place that people not only come to for a cup of coffee, but also a place where you could get a 97 square foot cultural experience full of love. All of this combined with our amazing staff who welcomed everyone with a warm sense of connection and community has resulted in the perfect experience which was unique and genuine. We really want to thank all our customers, our staff, and the businesses who put themselves out there to help us achieve everything this last year. We would do it all over again and wouldn’t change a single thing about this experience. Please stop by one last time over the coming weeks and enjoy a coffee with us! 🌴
