Sorry that I haven't posted since March. Wow, three months just flew by. Regular job has been taking a lot of time from me plus I volunteer at local conventions and acting for a local film school/production house (I'm a monster, no really, a monster). I have been crafting though. Made some more bookmarks, just haven't finished putting them together. I also have been working on a new cosplay (mostly sewing, some prop building) and will be making a pendant to complement the DC Rogue I'll be portraying and no, it ain't anyone you'd know... unless you collected The Flash around 2001-2003.

Six inch doll in progress. I think that I will crackle her skin with a layer of off-white at the top layer. Using the ribbons as fabric for her dress. The book came with clothing patterns. I really want to use the patterned ribbon in the outfit but it is translucent and the pattern would be difficult orient properly for my first minature outfit. I suppose I could layer it over the gray ribbon then use the black ribbon for trim and the gold/black for lace collar and cuffs.

SF 49er bookmark for my dad and a new lovely greensleeves bookmark for fun! I make my bookmarks approximately 12 inches in length to fit most paperbacks.

I also made a lovely brown satin bookmark with a round orange gem but I gave it away before I could even take a photo!

Got some ideas about incorporating the ribbon into the cylinder forms that I make. So, instead of only the texture of clay with a pretty gem, how about a sandwich of ribbon between the body of the cylinder and then a delicate lacework of clay or clay accents on top of that?
