Our first wholesale partner, Café du Sol, mid-renovation and about to open.

There’s something about watching a fellow restaurant come together from cardboard boxes and unfinished counters to an actual place people will walk into. The mess before the opening. The late nights before the first customer.

Grateful they wanted DZÔ pouring from day one. Respect for anyone who takes on building a restaurant. It’s not easy, and these guys are doing it right.

It's Here. Two Months In, and DZÔ Finally Has Coffee.

We've been building DZÔ Coffee in Bellevue for months — the brand, the story, the vision. But something was missing. Then our first shipment arrived, and everything changed.

1. The price on the invoice is not the price you pay.
Add freight. Add duties. The number you got excited about is not the number that lands.

2. A gorgeous bag means nothing if it’s not legal.
FDA labeling. A certified nutrition panel. A barcode that scans. Nobody posts about this part. Everybody has to do it.

3. I met them in person before trusted a single bean.
Met Thu. Seen her operation. You can’t get that from a sell sheet. If you’re betting your brand on someone, go look them in the eye first.

4. At least 45 days.
That’s from the day it leaves port. Not the day you order it. I learned that the hard way, staring at a launch date that kept moving.

5. I drank the samples for weeks before I said yes.
Handed them to people I trust. Watched their faces, not their words. If you haven’t tasted what’s on the boat, you don’t know what you’re selling.
