Sharing my mom’s post- I couldn’t have worded this any better than she did. I know we have lots of happy customers. We'd truly appreciate positive reviews on Facebook and Google.
Hey, everyone—this is Cindy! I spent the day at the store with my daughter, Becca, and there is something I would love to ask your help with. ❤️
Many of you supported me throughout my 16 years at The Mixing Bowl. You encouraged me, recommended my food, left kind reviews,(mostly😉) and stood by us through the good days and the difficult ones. I will always be grateful for the love so many of you showed me and my family.
Now, Becca is carrying that love forward through Gather & Go- Searcy
She grew up helping me cook and work in that store, and this is truly in her heart. She did not keep it going because it is easy or because the money is always great. She kept it going because she loves it, she loves this community, and she wants to serve the people who supported our family for so many years.
I see how hard she works—day and night. She is a young mother raising two little boys while running a business, keeping the coolers stocked, handling renovations and unexpected problems, and trying to make sure everything is done well. She has help, of course, but she still carries most of the responsibility herself. I honestly cannot keep up with her anymore! 😊
Today, I could see that she was overwhelmed, so this mama went to the store to work beside her. We cooked, filled the coolers, had the children there with us, and I enjoyed seeing some familiar faces. But I also saw her become discouraged after receiving a couple of complaints while hearing very little about all the things she is doing right.
We absolutely want to know when something needs attention. In fact, someone reached out today about a concern, we checked into it, and the problem was corrected. That is how it should work. If something is not right, please send Becca a private message and give her the opportunity to address it. I taught her to always try to make things right, just as I tried to do for all those years.
We are all human, people are still learning, and sometimes mistakes happen—but she genuinely wants the chance to correct them.
What is hurting her business right now is that Gather & Go has received only a small number of Facebook reviews, and most were written when someone had a complaint. When there are so few reviews, that does not reflect the many happy customers who enjoy her food, appreciate her service, and want her business to succeed.
So, I am asking from my mama heart: If Becca has prepared food you loved, helped you with an order, or given you a good experience at Gather & Go, would you please take just a minute to visit the Gather & Go page and leave an honest, positive review?
I know there are far more people who are happy with what she is doing than those who are not. Unfortunately, people are often quicker to share a disappointment than they are to share a good experience. Right now, she needs to hear from the happy customers, too.
Let’s flood her page with some encouragement and remind her that her hard work is seen and appreciated. Sometimes, in a job this demanding, the support and love of your community are what give you the strength to keep going.♥️💙
Thank you for supporting The Mixing Bowl through all those years, and thank you for continuing to support Becca and Gather & Go. I love and appreciate you all. I truly enjoyed being back in the kitchen today, cooking beside my daughter and seeing some of the people who have meant so much to us. ❤️
