Whether you’re planning a Monday dinner or a weekend night out, here’s when you can visit:

🍝 Restaurant Hours
Dinner every day, 5pm - 9pm

🍻 Pub Hours
Sunday – Wednesday: 5pm - 10pm
Thursday: 5pm - 11pm
Friday & Saturday: 5pm - Midnight

The pub is family-friendly until 9 pm and 21+ after 9 pm.

We’ve been grateful for the way this community has welcomed The 1879.

In this interview clip, Chef Julio shares what it has meant to have the support that we've had as we continue settling in and serving you, our guests.

Tomorrow, The 1879 will mark another milestone community moment with our friends over at Greater Sealy Area Chamber of Commerce for our ribbon cutting ceremony.

The mission of the Sealy Chamber of Commerce is: "To promote business prosperity and strengthen the quality of life in our community."

If we don’t get to see you tonight, we’d love to see you tomorrow as we celebrate with our local Sealy chamber.

The 1879 name connects back to the history of Sealy, Texas.

1879 is the year Sealy was founded, which made it a simple way to tie the restaurant back to the community it was built to serve.

It's Foodie Friday, and today we're highlighting two of our appetizers. 🤌

First up, our Aglio Knots. Garlic butter knots with parmesan, parsley, and marinara.

Then there’s Steak Bruschetta. Shaved ribeye on toasted sourdough with fresh mozzarella, cherry tomatoes, basil, pesto, and balsamic glaze.

This time, Chef Julio, Head Chef and G.M. of The 1879, shares why he chose to leave the corporate food world and take a chance on something new.

For Chef Julio, it came back to working with Steve again, their years of friendship, and the trust already built from working together before.
