On behalf of The Realm Restaurant Group, we were heartbroken to see the removal of our beloved rainbow crosswalk at the corner of Pineapple and Cocoanut.

As a company we stand for the foundational ideals of equality and diversity. This is not a political stance for us—these are the core principles that guide our business and our team.

This crosswalk was a symbol of inclusion in our community and sadly its removal has created a lot of unnecessary pain and fear.

As allies and advocates we want our marginalized friends and families to continue to feel seen and accepted.

If “the forces that be” won’t let us go out with our message, then we’ll go up! We have the walls and we have the local artists, let’s join together and cover Sarasota with love. ❤️ 🏳️‍🌈
