Hubby, his friend and I checked out the new hot spot in Downtown Vacaville Saturday night and it did not disappoint! 😎
The Barrel Room - Vacaville, Ca is the cutest, chic with some high end vibes that in my opinion downtown Vacaville needs to bring more life to this city! (Don’t hate this city girl that lives in the country 🙃🤣)
I ran into Chef Dani Grazing, baking, and catering. which I met at TNC as she hosted a cooking workshop last year and when she mentioned she was the chef here I absolutely had no doubt the food was going to be amazing! 🤩
My hubby and his friend had their beer flight which they enjoyed very much. I had Chef Dani’s recommendation of their 2024 Rosé of Pinot Noir, Napa Valley and it was light, not too sweet and refreshing! ☺️
We ordered the Naan with whipped ricotta and honey and their prosciutto arugula flatbread and both were deliciously amazing 🤤
Now let’s talk about their Ube Cheesecake and let me tell you, I am a simple girl (some may call it picky , I don’t 🤪) Ube and cheesecake is not my thing but I have completely changed my mind! The Ube was subtle, the cheesecake was light, the bread crumble was crumbly mmm might go get me a slice later today! 🙃
Chef Dani introduced me to one of the owners, Chad and boy did I feel his deep passion for this new business! 🥰 It’s just a warming feeling to see how much one pours into their dream and as a community we need to show up! 😎
