It’s Friday, and we will be set up at The Hangar Food Truck Park from 11:30-7:30. It’s going to be a perfect fall day, so drop by for burgers, Reubens, pastrami subs, grilled chicken sandwiches, grilled cheese, hot dogs, and more!

Last year, at a local fair that will remain unnamed, my son in law decided to ride the giant slide with his kids.

We suspect that someone put about three extra layers of Turtle 🐢 Wax on that slide, because Aaron flew toward the bottom at approximately the speed of light, narrowly escaping death.

He decided to give it another go in 2026. We now believe that someone (not us) sent a sternly worded email regarding the conditions of the slide in 2025, and the giant slide 2026 team grossly overcompensated.

All the riders were just sort of moving in super slow mo, getting stuck and having to push themselves along to eventually reach the bottom.

A middle ground in 2027 would be appreciated.

Tomorrow is, apparently, National Propane Day.

We didn’t come out of the gate excited to celebrate this, but then we realized there would be no 🍔 🌭 🍟 without the propane.
