Madz Kitchen Our Story

At Madz Kitchen, we serve more than just delicious Filipino dishes—we serve memories, heritage, and a taste of home.

Our culinary story begins in the warm, bustling kitchens of two Filipina grandmothers, Maria Luz and Lalaine, whose cooking journeys started decades ago, rooted deeply in family tradition. Growing up in Southern Philippines, Maria Luz and Lalaine learned the art of Filipino cooking from their own kitchen, passing down recipes and techniques through generations. Entirely self-taught, their passion was nurtured by necessity, tradition, and the simple joy of feeding loved ones. After migrating to the United States, Maria Luz and Lalaine continued cooking as a heartfelt way to stay connected to their roots. They soon realized that their dishes offered a comforting sense of home, not just for their family, but for fellow Filipinos missing authentic flavors and locals eager to explore new culinary horizons. At Madz Kitchen, every dish we offer is lovingly prepared by Maria Luz and Lalaine to bring you the warmth, care, and authenticity of traditional home cooking. We invite you to experience Filipino cuisine, crafted with heart and history, by two extraordinary women who believe every meal should feel like a warm embrace. Because at Madz Kitchen, you’re not just enjoying a meal — you’re part of our family.
