Happy Father's Day to all the wonderful dads and father figures in our lives—and to the many amazing dads who visit Koolfi.

To the fathers in our families who have always embraced the work, laughter, and love that come with raising children: we love you and are grateful for everything you do.

Our own families live far away, so seeing dads and their kids sharing a scoop, laughing together, and making sweet memories at Koolfi fills a little piece of that distance for us. It reminds us that the simplest moments often become the most meaningful.

We're so lucky to be part of those moments. Here's to all the caring, dedicated, goofy, patient dads who show up every day with love. We hope you keep making memories—one scoop at a time.

Our Pride special, Rainbow Riots, is here.
Pink lotus & rose ice cream, sandwiched between salty, chai-masala-infused Fruity Pebbles marshmallow treats. Triangular, colorful, joyful, and a little unexpected.

A gorgeous day at the 117th annual Cherry Fest in downtown San Leandro

250 vendors, sound stage and ice cream before food is the way we live it!!

11 am - 6 pm today. We are at the corner of Estudillo & Clarke, downtown San Leandro.

Parking is free around the festival and BART station is right here.

The party is ON!!

Two scoops. Two summer memories.

The watermelon takes me back to hot afternoons when my grandfather would bring home a giant watermelon and my uncle would slice it up for all the kids. We'd sit around laughing, sticky-handed, and trying not to swallow the seeds.

The tamarind takes me straight to my Patti's (gradma) South Indian kitchen, where she would have a jar full of spicy tamarind candy called pulli muttai. We could only eat a few each day and we couldn't wait to get her hands in that jar!

Happy Amma Day to all the mother and mother figures in the world!

I love my Amma who at 70+ is always up for a good time, an incredible woman who has been open to learning and growing, a wonderful mother-in-law and a loving wife.

We are also so lucky to know and admire so many dear friends who are strong, kind and fun mothers raising happy children. Love you all.

Hope you are all being showered with love, celebrated and acknowledged today for the many many hours you put into this often thankless, unpaid and underappreciated job you all do.

Remind your kids of what my mom says when I wish her on mothers day - "for you, it better be my mother's day everyday" :)
