What a night. ❤️
A few years ago, I was baking from my home kitchen. Today, Love & Bake had the incredible honor of catering Opening Season Night for the 2026–2027 season at the , celebrating the premiere of Purpose.
This event marked a major milestone in Love & Bake history. In just one month, we planned, baked, and displayed more than 1,000 pieces of dessert across two 12-foot dessert displays—the largest dessert presentation Love & Bake has ever created.
One of my favorite parts of this experience was collaborating with .ches to create a couple custom desserts featuring locally sourced natural honey. Being able to showcase local ingredients while celebrating local partnerships made this event even more meaningful.
A huge thank you to Danielle, Gabriella, and the entire La Jolla Playhouse team for your hospitality, kindness, and warm welcome. Thank you for trusting Love & Bake with such an important evening and for making us feel so valued throughout the process.
To my best friend, — thank you for jumping in and helping bring this vision to life. Those beautiful displays would not have come together the way they did without your support, creativity, and willingness to work alongside me.
