Going out to eat with my parents has always been, “We can make this at home.”

Every Sunday, my mom makes dinner for the whole family.

And anytime we actually go out to eat, usually Asian food, it’s like clockwork, my mom will make the same thing the next Sunday.

Almost like she has to prove she can make it just as good… or better. 😂

So yeah, I guess “I can make that at home” runs in the family.

I’ve been blown away by the response I’ve gotten from beginning to cook on this platform this year.

If you’re new here, my name is Jimmy👋

For the longest time, I never thought I’d be posting food videos online.

I’ve just always genuinely loved cooking.

A lot of my favorite memories growing up revolve around food: family parties, Cambodian holidays, backyard BBQs, loud kitchens, and watching my ma cook.

Food was always the thing that brought everyone together.

Over the years, I just became the person who was always cooking for everyone.

Friends coming over, family dinners, random late-night meals, meal prep… I genuinely enjoyed being in the kitchen.

SeaPuckFoods actually started as a small meal prep business before it turned into this page. Eventually I started posting recipes and videos because I realized I enjoyed sharing the process just as much as the food itself.

Now this page is basically a mix of everything I like- comfort food, Cambodian flavors, foods I grew up eating, and random ideas that sounded good in my head at the time.

I never wanted it to feel overly perfect or super serious.

Just good food and real life.
