Thank you to everyone who came out and supported my very first porch pop up this past weekend. I honestly wasn’t sure what to expect, but the response was so amazing! Seeing so many familiar faces, meeting new customers, and watching the community show up the way you did meant everything to me! With that being said, this weekend marked the end of an era.

Vietnabean is officially closing.

This wasn’t a sudden decision. I first announced back in May that I would be transitioning back to my original business, Happi Bae Drinks & Treats, and pinned a post explaining the change. I know some people may have missed it, so I wanted to make one final announcement. I will be taking the summer off and returning this fall as Happi Bae Drinks & Treats with the same passion, the same treats, and exciting new things to come! If you’ve enjoyed supporting Vietnabean, I would be so grateful if you would head over and follow the Happi Bae page now so you don’t miss reopening announcements, menu updates, and future events. This page will be permanently shut down at the end of July. Please help me spread the word by sharing this post and inviting anyone who follows Vietnabean to follow Happi Bae instead.

1pm: thank you all for shopping my porch bakery! I am officially done for the day! I will see you at Happi Bae in the fall! Have a great summer!

11am update: sold out of coffee. I still have the following available:
One cinnamon roll
4 pumpkin milk bread danishes (in the cinnamon roll cooler)
3 Korean strawberry shortcake
A good amount of coffee cake and Funfetti NYC cookies.

Good morning!!! Last day I’m open until fall! Come grab pastries and coffee! Everything was made this morning. Korean strawberry shortcakes, cinnamon rolls, GIANT milk bead Danishes (Japanese style), 1/3lb NYC cookies, coffee cakes, concentrated Vietnamese coffee (just add milk) ready to be frozen! Please stop by 129 rose spoonbill. Please make payment before leaving. I’ll be here until 3pm or until sold out.

Tomorrow morning, I will be opening at 7:30 AM. I am operating off of one hand so it’s going to take me a little bit longer than expected. I will have more cinnamon rolls, cookies, coffee cake, milk bread danishes, and Korean strawberry shortcake croissants! I will post another video in the morning before I open. All items will be set out at 7:00 AM and available on a first come, first served basis.
Please note:�• No pre orders�• No holds�• No cash accepted�• Self-serve shopping
Please make sure payment is made BEFORE leaving the porch. All pricing and payment options are posted here, on the cooler, and on the table for your convenience.
This is an honor system porch shop, so please be respectful, honest, and follow the posted instructions. I do have security cameras monitoring the porch, and they are there to help ensure that all items are paid for before leaving.
I will be in and out throughout the day but will not always be present, so I appreciate everyone’s honesty and cooperation.
I will post updates throughout the day showing what is still available and will announce when items are sold out. A video of today’s offerings will be posted in the morning.

Due to an unexpected emergency last night, we will need to cancel today’s porch pop up.

We will still be open Saturday and Sunday from 7:00 AM until sold out, and I’ll be making extra items to help make up for today’s cancellation.

I’ll post a full list of available items for Saturday later this evening.
