A Saturday well spent in College Park! 🐢🏈

I had such a great time last Saturday passing out fresh watermelon slices to Terps fans at Terpsville Fan Fest inside the Jones-Hill House indoor practice facility before kickoff!

There’s nothing better than sharing sweet, refreshing watermelon with fans while soaking up all the pregame excitement. After Fan Fest, we even got to head over and catch some of the game action!

Such a fun day connecting with fans, cheering on the Terps, and spreading a little watermelon love in College Park! ❤️🍉🏈

What a great couple of days spent at the Maryland State Fair! 🍉🎡🎟️

Friday, I had the opportunity to attend the Governor’s Agriculture Day Luncheon, surrounded by representatives from several agricultural organizations, industry leaders, policymakers, and others who share a passion for supporting and promoting Maryland agriculture. Governor Wes Moore and Maryland Secretary of Agriculture Kevin Atticks also joined the event to share remarks and recognize the importance of agriculture across the state.

Saturday morning, I headed to the U-Learn Farm for some hands-on agricultural education! I had the chance to read a book about knowing and growing your food, with a special focus on how watermelons are grown, their nutritional benefits, and where our food comes from. We even talked about how to pick out the perfect watermelon!📚🍉

Such a fun couple of days celebrating agriculture, education, and the people who help keep the industry growing!
