We are an upfront and laid back blue-collar dive bar that has great daily drink specials and the best entertainment in town. The bar features an outdoor patio with speakers from the Jukebox. nge is within walking distance from the Amtrak, and the bus stop. Willie's features two bars including windows for customers to order drinks from the patio and smoke pit. The 2nd bar, called The G Spot, features full selection of Wasatch and Squatter's beer. The one and only G Spot Premium Ale can only be found at the Willie's G Spot.

Today is National Dive Bar Day! We want to give a huge shout out to Willie Goldberg, the founder of Willie’s Lounge! Established in 1948, we’re Salt Lake’s oldest dive bar!

Willie’s great granddaughter stopped in a few months ago and shared some original pictures of the bar that we’ve never seen!

1st - from 1989
2nd - from 1976 (our back bar is still the original that you see in this photo!)
3rd - Willie himself!
4th - Sarah and Willie, date unknown
5th - a Budweiser delivery on Main, complete with the Clydesdales in 1952.
6th - plaque on our patio in remembrance

Fun fact - Sarah (Willie’s wife) did the cooking and Willie was the bartender and bouncer since he was a boxer!
