Okay, you guys, I can’t thank you enough from the bottom of my heart. So many of you have already sent donations or called the animal hospital directly to help Roady. I’m honestly overwhelmed by your kindness.
Here’s the latest update on Roady the bird:
Roady experienced head trauma, has blood behind the left eye, and has a broken air sac. Roady is currently being treated at the animal hospital, and the bill came to $717.16 so far 😭
Birds are exotic animals so it’s always more.

Thank you so much to everyone who has already donated, called the hospital, or reached out offering to foster Roady. We have decided to have an experienced rescue take over Roady’s medical care because of the head injury and broken air sac. They are familiar with these medical issues, and we feel safe knowing Roady will be in their hands.

The rescue will also continue trying to locate Roady’s owner. If the owner cannot be found, then once Roady is completely healed, we will make sure this sweet little bird finds an absolutely amazing adopter and the loving home they deserve.
