Todays bounty from hmongtown marketplace. We will use the long beans to experiment making dobangjiang for our mapo tofu. The peashoots and herbs will be a nice counterbalance of freshness to some dishes. The peapods will be in the lo mein and more. All of this was local produce from growers in st paul (minus the peaches). We aim to supoort local farms and businesses in everything we do. Hope everyoneis having a great day!

We have updated our menu...again, and it drops today! Here at the new Golden Chow Mein, our focus is on what we like to cook and to offer a new perspective on Chinese cuisine that you just wont find anywhere else. Follow our journey on instagram (goldenchowmein) or here on facebook. Order online at goldenchowmein.square.site.
EDIT: The point of this post was to boost it, but facebook will not let us run ads. We want our reach to extend a broader audience that might appreciate our food! Please share if you can until we figure this out. Grrrr.

R&D complete on the Egg Foo Young. Its delicious and you want one. Pictured is a half order. You can get it with BBQ pork or what have you, but its fantastic its own. Think asian biscuits and gravy. A new menu edit is coming as well.
