Our heartfelt thanks to everyone who came out to lift up moms & support at Riot Mom Festival this past Saturday! It was a day filled with care, community connections & so much beautiful art. We're grateful to every vendor, volunteer, performer & neighbor who helped to make this happen. And to our neighbors/co-hosts & - we're so proud of this lil corner of Wabasha & Isabel!

Each person we spoke with on Saturday - from behind the bar to out at the market - brightened our day. Here's to our community! Y'all are the best 💖

RIOT MOM IS TOMORROW!

Join us Saturday, 5/9 on the West Side for a day of music, art & community building, lifting up the moms who hold it all together & raising funds for ☀️

In honor of the day, we've got two sweet beverage specials for you (West Side-STP coffee bar only):

☀️ Salted Peach Cold Brew Lemonade
☀️ Salted Peach Matcha Lemonade

These vegan stunners feature our house lemonade + peach & a dash of salt for the refreshing, energizing boost you'll need to keep going all day (Riot Mom goes from 10am-8pm)!

Some things to know if you're planning to come out tomorrow:
☀️ The West Side-STP coffee bar will close at the usual time (4pm), with & open through the end of the event
☀️ Our block of Wabasha Street S will be closed, but our parking lot & surrounding streets will still be accessible & open for parking
☀️ will be hosting yoga from 11-12
☀️ A sensory playground will be set up on the Wabasha Brewing patio, by Dragonfly Discovery Studios (Wabasha opens @ 11)
☀️ Food trucks begin serving at noon!
☀️ Be sure to follow & to stay up to date on all the day's events + their ongoing mutual aid work

☕ BURUNDI GAKENKE IS FRESH IN 🍏

Did you know? One bag of coffee can represent the work of thousands of people! That's the case with this delicious offering from Gakenke Washing Station in the highlands of Kayanza, where the lot is gathered from 2667 different producers - each farm about ¼ acre in size. The coffee is grown alongside bananas, beans, yams, taro & cassava. Co-planting provides an additional revenue stream & additional fresh food to the farmers, while also benefiting local ecosystems.

This lot is comprised of the bourbon variety, known for its sweetness & clarity. This, along with meticulous sorting and processing, leads to phenomenal results in the cup! We find delicious notes of green apple, burnt sugar, raisin and plum, with a tart acidity and silky body. Take home a bag today!

With significant federal funding cuts, it's more important than ever for us to come together to ensure these services remain accessible in our community!
